North Table Mountain Golden Cliffs Trailhead
This trail leads to the mesa top up its south side to a
favorite metro area rock climbing cliff. Volunteers completed this trail in
the summer of 1998. The trail is on the 28-acre Golden Cliffs Preserve, an Open Space
property owned by
The
Access Fund. Golden resident Mayford Peery made the preserve possible through a
donation. It is open to the general public during daylight hours for hiking, nature
viewing and rock climbing. To reach the trail, follow Peery Parkway to its end and follow
the gravel road to the trailhead. An additional parking facility was also recently
finished at the end of Plateau Parkway.
