Table Mountains Conservation Fund, Inc. is sponsoring a public
wildflower hike with Deborah Darnell, a Native
Plant Master and Member of the Colorado Native
Plant Society as hike leader. Darnell has led
hikes for the Denver Botanic Gardens and is
a volunteer naturalist as a local state park.
Joining Darnell will be Dan Kunz who is also
a Plant Master and certified interpreter and
knowledgeable about the trails on the North
Table Mountains.
Register at 8:30 a.m. at
Tony Grampus Park, Located off of West 44th
Ave on Salvia Street, just east of the Rail
Road Museum. Hike starts at 9:00 a.m. and back
to parking lot by about 12:00. Families and
beginners welcomed. Bring water, sunscreen,
hiking boots. Learn more about our local plants
and enjoy the beauty of the North Table Mountain
