When: Sat., Sept. 18, 2004 -- Project begins at 8 a.m.
Where: Lubahn Trail: Belvedere Dr. and 19th St., Golden (see directions
below) Please park vehicles along Belvedere Dr.
What: We will be building and repairing 940 ft. of the Lubahn Trail
Why: To serve our community; To learn trail building techniques from
experts; To help

What you should bring and wear:
1. Hiking boots or work boots
2. Work gloves
3. Water bottle (we will provide water and other drinks)
4. Long pants
5. Hat
6. Sunscreen

What will be provided for you:
1. Lunch
2. Snacks and Drinks
3. Water/Gatorade (please bring a water bottle for refills)
4. Expert instruction on trail building and repair from members of local
hiking clubs, the National Parks Service and Golden Parks and Recreation
Dept.
5. All trail building/repairing equipment (Pulaskis, McLeods, Pick Mattox,
etc.)
6. Port-a-Potty

GOLDEN/CENTRAL CITY. 4.5 miles

Take the WASHINGTON AVENUE exit. 0.1 miles

Turn LEFT onto WASHINGTON AVE. 0.9 miles

Turn LEFT onto 19TH ST. 0.3 miles

End at BELVEDERE DR & 19TH ST
